| i brought K.C to the vet today.. :( and uhm... the vet said K.C's... uhm... "a little chubby".. "he's not obese.. but he's got a ponch.. and he should go on a diet.." *sigh* so in other words.. i've got a fat cat :( i don't know what to think... cuz i've been told i look like my cat........ :( | | |
| Dang, i'm sooooo tired today.. i don't know why cuz i got 7hrs sleep today. Maybe cuz i didn't really sleep well... i have a super loud jumbo fan in the livingroom, drying off my carpet *sigh* My apartment is ok now.. but the carpets smells funky *sigh* | | |
| My apartment is leaking... i came home today and half my livingroom carpet is soaked! it appears the water is coming from my ceiling, running down the wall.. and soaking through the carpet and padding *sigh* it was ok last night.. cuz i was loading a DVD and the carpet in that area was fine.... but tonight.. that same area is super SUPER wet! i thought it was strange that K.C was meowing so much in the middle of the night... i guess he knew something was going on........ i think he tried to stop the water (or maybe he just wanted to play in the big water puddle) cuz his paw marks were everywhere..
hehe.. K.C is such a smart cat.. the other day, i had left my computer on while i was at work.. and when i got home.. it looked like K.C had opened the internet browser and printed something out.... hahaha! i think he was trying to do some research on Mac computers... hehe.. :P silly cat!
i thought i'd have to leave K.C here over the holidays.. but i called WestJet again and they said i can bring him on the plane as a carry on.. but not cargo (Eww.. K.C just yawned and he has bad cat breath..) but i don't think K.C would go into his soft carry case.. he's kinda out grown it.. so he'll have to lay down for the whole trip cuz he can't stand up fully... i don't know if i wanna buy another carry case for him just for this trip.... He's already got a hard carry case and another soft one would be 3.. (spoiled cat!!) but he'll be soooooo lonely here over the holidays.. and my parents want him home too... i'll see what i can do...
*yawn* i'm tired.. time to sleep...

| The social work conference was really good. I missed the keynote speaker and the response to her message (cuz i had to work..) but i made it to the workshops and they were very informative. I also met some pretty cool people. And ate some really yummy food 
The conference inspired me to apply for school again. i don't think i have enough time to prepare the application package for UVic (cuz the deadline is in 2 weeks). But i've got a month for UofT and 2 months for UBC. ..i don't think my chances are really good cuz i dont have enough post-grad work experience (they require at least 2 years).. but i'll give it a try.. cuz i know i'll be kicking myself all year if i don't....
i prefer UofT over UBC (cuz they have specializations and collaborative/ interdisciplinary master's programs) and i'll definately go if they accept me.. but i don't want to move.. i'm happy where i am and how far i've come.. Nevertheless, i'm excited about my decision! i really really hope i get in..! (although i'd really wish i had more time to prepare the applications..) | | |
